Ways of the past

I have always hated shaving because it irritates my face. I am in a management position at UPS and must be clean shaved everyday. So I started to look into alternative shaving methods.

The first thing that everyone thinks of is an old straight razor. I did some research but decided that with a 2 year old in the house I didn't want a straight razor so easily accessible. I then discovered single blade safety razors.

I picked these bad boys up last weekend at an antique store for $3 a piece. The one on the left is a mid 40s Gillette 3 piece, the one on the right is an early 60s Gillette Tech Adjustable.

Shaving the past 4 days has been amazing. I can already notice the difference in my face and I am quickly honing my skill.
